Structure & Operating Procedure

Roles & Responsibilities

High level roles and responsibilities will remain the same, however, there would be country/area specific roles as well. Below Points elaborates the responsibilities of key roles in PITPQ8:

Executive Committee

Provide strategic directions and oversee organizational matters globally and will have supreme authority to take organizational decisions

Chairman

Provide strategic direction and vision to the society, guiding its activities towards fulfilling its mission and goals

Vice Chairman

Assisting the chairman in providing strategic direction and vision to the society involves guiding its activities toward fulfilling its mission and goals.

President

Provide and execute the tactical and consolidated strategy as well as act as bridge for organization wide teams

Vice President

Direct and execute strategic and functional strategies domestically in order to achieve organizational goals

General Secretary

Manages all types of cross organizational communications, plans joint efforts and execute the joint initiatives along with other organizations

Joint Secretary

Manages all types of administrative matters for assigned i.e internal communications, arranging meetings, documentations and logistics etc.

Finance Secretary

Plan, manage, execute and record all types of organizational financial matters.

Operations Secretary

Responsible to execute the functional operations by leading the teams in various channels

Media Coordinator

Responsible for maintaining the social media channels and coordination with external media teams

Meetings

Regular Meetings –

Regular meetings shall be held bi-weekly during the regular times of the year and will be documented for record purposes.

Special Meeting –

Special meetings may be called by the President with the approval of the Executive Committee.

Quorum –

A quorum shall consist of top officials and two-thirds (2/3) of the members.

Committees

Executive Committee –

Committee composed of the top officials and members with lower designations shall be appointed as per requirement based on mutual consent of top officials.

Management Committee –

Committee composed of Vice President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary and Operational Executive mainly. Other members shall be brought on board based on mutual consent per requirement.

Eligibility –

Any Pakistani IT professional or student residing in Kuwait shall be eligible to hold the membership status of PITPQ8.

Membership Procedures –

Every person willing to join PITPQ8 must fill the membership form and submit to Executive Committee.

Membership Dues –

There are NO DUES APPLICABLE for gaining membership in PITPQ8.
